Einladungstext zum nächsten Anti-Google Café: face2face am Samstag den 27.10.2018, nach der offiziellen Einstellung des Projektes Google-Campus Berlin
Google zieht vorerst nicht selber ins Umspannwerk in Kreuzberg, sondern vermietet die 3 000 Quadratmeter weiter an zwei soziale Initiativen, Betterplace und Karuna. Wie diese Strategieänderung von Google zu erklären ist, lässt sich wahrscheinlich erst in nächster Zeit sehen. Dass jedoch die kontinuierlichen Aktionen gegen den Google Campus dazu beigetragen haben, dass Google nicht einfach so nach Kreuzberg kommen kann und sich hier einnistet, kann nicht geleugnet werden. Den (Image) Schaden den Google in letzter Zeit, ausgehend von kleinen und größeren, zumeist informellen Aktionen, davon getragen hat, ließ den Riesen-Konzern in eine neue Charmeoffensive gehen, um noch mehr Schaden abzuwehren. Der Kampf gegen Google und Co., ist ein Kampf gegen die bestehende Herrschaft und wie sie sich manifestiert. Eine Entlarvung der Lügen der Politiker und selbsternannten „Kiezsprecher“ ist hier unwichtig, denn dies ist ihr Job, den Status Quo zu erhalten und Proteste zu befrieden. Denn eine Stärke des Kampfes gegen den Google-Campus ist sicherlich die breite Weigerung auf Verhandlungen einzugehen, und die politischen Schwätzer nicht die Kontrolle über den Kampf zu geben. Die Änderung der Pläne von Google wurden nicht in den Büros erkämpft, sondern auf der Straße.
Im Laufe der letzten zwei Jahre hat sich ein Kampf ausgehend von der Verhinderung des Google-Campus, entwickelt, der sich gegen den technologischen Angriff und die Umstrukturierung der Macht richtete. Nicht nur Google was das Ziel von Angriffen, sondern die gesamte Tech-Szene, die Herrschaft und diejenigen die diese fördern und verteidigen. In diesen zwei Jahren wurde versucht ein eigenes antagonistisches Projekt gegen diese Welt von der Google und Co. Träumen, zu entwickeln. Einen Kampf der aus der Eigeninitiative der Beteiligten speist, aus der Kreativität und der Selbstorganisation. Einen Kampf mit der Perspektive der Umwälzung der Verhältnisse, und nicht mit der „lediglichen“ Verhinderung des Campus.
Und was bedeutet dies jetzt, nachdem Google offiziell das Projekt Campus Berlin auf Eis legt? Alles hinzuschmeißen und sich einen neuen „Gegner“ zu suchen? Die Kritik und Angriffe auf Google und andere Tech-Unternehmen unterlassen, da Google nun nicht mehr nach Kreuzberg kommt? Und wenn es eigentlich nie wirklich um das Ziel ging, sondern immer der Weg das Ziel selbst war, dann geht es darauf aufzubauen. Wir blicken zurück auf die letzten zwei Jahre, auf die entstandenen Beziehungen, tiefe Diskussionen, Konflikte, mehr oder weniger kollektive Angriffe, die Erfahrungen die gesammelt wurden, usw.
